The “feel” and image of La Ti Da boutique are inspired by old Hollywood glamour, paying particular homage to the leading ladies of the 1930’s through the 1960’s. These influences result in an upbeat, exciting atmosphere, which will undoubtedly be contagious to all who enter. La Ti Da’s business approach is borne out of a philosophy of high customer service orientation and strong, personal client relationships.

About the owner, Kim Porterfield


Kim PorterfieldKim Porterfield has a wealth of experience in the fashion industry. She earned her bachelor's degree in fashion design and merchandising and minored in marketing at Drexel University, graduating in 1998. With over ten years experience in both the wholesale and retail ends of this industry, she has worked in various areas within the fashion industry. As the Assistant Fashion Director at the Nordstrom department store in King of Prussia, PA she coordinated and successfully executed all events hosted at the store. Kim then applied her talents and skills at Nicole Miller. She quickly advanced from Sales Consultant to the Wholesale Sales Manager. Her roles at Nicole Miller provided Kim with the experience and knowledge to launch her own boutique. Kim’s amazing sense of style combined with her fashion expertise provides her the foundation essential for this challenging and exciting industry. As a result of her performing so many different tasks during her time at Nicole Miller, she has been afforded the opportunity to learn numerous different aspects of this challenging and exciting business.

Kim’s extensive experience in retail, wholesale sales and management, visuals, merchandising, public relations, and private label allows her to operate all aspects of La Ti Da with the knowledge, experience, commitment, and, most importantly, perseverance of a young and highly motivated entrepreneur.
